Baraka Point's international chefs spend their time preparing a variety of dishes through-out your stay so that you don't have to! Our chefs can cook to order, suggest a daily menu or surprise you with their creations. For those who like to cook the villa's professional kitchen features a full complement of dinnerware, glassware and stainless steel appliances. An Italian wood burning pizza oven and built-in outdoor kitchen with professional BBQ plus a well-stocked wine cellar are some of the special features that will appeal to gourmands. Please see the Dining section of our website for more information on the many dining experiences available at Baraka Point as well as some sample dishes to give you a flavour of what is in store for you.
There is plenty of day time diversity at Baraka Point with something for everyone to do. Days can be geared toward water sports, sun-tanning or pampering spa treatments in our Spa & Wellness Pavilion. Have Kim, our house co-manager and spa therapist, soothe your senses with island-inspired spa treatments including body wraps, massage & facials or relax with a sunset yoga session on the beach.
For those wanting to work off the excesses of Baraka Point's delectable cuisine there is a well-equipped fitness studio with outdoor covered exercise deck and one-on-one personal training is available by appointment.
Baraka Point offers in-house water sports such as wake-boarding, water-skiing, tubing, Hobie catamaran sailing, kayaking & snorkeling and our sea trampoline is very popular with older children and teens. On land there is a tennis court nearby, Adventure Programs including guided hiking, bird-watching and star-gazing to name but a few.
For more "Off Beach" fun, take on your companions at a game of billiards in our waterfront Games Pavilion overlooking the beach. Here you will also find a fully stocked wet bar and Alex, our very able butler/bartender at work mixing sunset cocktails. If you need a break from the sun Baraka Point's home movie theatre has over 150 films--stretch out on the sofas with some signature Baraka Point popcorn and accompany James Bond on the Caribbean leg of one of his high octane spy adventures...
Off-site activities such as diving, windsurfing and deep-sea fishing can be arranged by our concierge, while the adventurous can try bouldering, kite-boarding and para-gliding. Go island-hopping by Sunseeker, listen to live steel pan music, snorkel the Baths, and visit sugar mill ruins and the old copper mine on the wind-swept Atlantic side of the island for a glimpse into Virgin Gorda's past. Just be sure to be back in time for sunset at Baraka Point...
